I was worried the washed black would look scuffed, but it's a nice soft charcoal that hides dirt well. The lug sole actually grips on wet pavement, and I've worn them through a whole farmers market without any rubbing. Cute with cropped jeans, too.

Wore these walking around town all day and my feet never complained once. The washed black canvas has that broken-in feel right out of the box, and the strap holds snug without digging in.

The lug sole gives these Mary Janes just enough grip for city streets, and the washed black finish already looks like a favorite pair I've owned for years.
