The mudguard actually does its job — my legs stayed clean through wet grass and puddles on my morning walks. They look sharp enough for running errands too, which I didn't expect from a waterproof shoe.

These handled a muddy trail walk way better than I expected, and the mudguard really does keep the splashes off your legs. The waterproofing held up through wet grass for two hours and they still look decent enough to wear into town after.

Wore these straight out of the box for a 6-mile walk and zero break-in needed. The waterproofing held up in wet grass, and they still look sharp enough with jeans.
